U-40 rod bond still good?

i have some u-40 rod bond the normal kind not the fast cure...how long is this stuff good for? and how can you tell if it went bad or if its still good? its been a few years since ive used it but its been kept in a cool dark place closed tight and it still looks ok

Simple

Mix a little and see if it sets up and dries I keep that stuff for years and it still works

how long does it normally take to set and dry? i bought it long ago but stopped rod building before i got to use it so how long should i wait to decide if its good or not?

I would say about 12 hours if I put it on in the afternoon I don't play with it till the nexd day

You can even heat it either in water or microwave -- I do not think it will be nessarry to do so

It's good forever. RodBond takes several hours to set about 24 to 48 hours to cure to useable condition.

If the resin is thick or congealed, you can set it in the microwave for about 10 to 15 seconds and return it to normal consistency.
