Been checking out the forum for some time now. Built my first bass casting rod. Just wanted to say Thanx to all of you that have posted information on rod building. This forum is a wealth of information. Thanx again!!

From the few years that I've been around I have found this to be the best forum about that contains more than a few high quality builders who are all willing to share what they know. I think they do that in order to get more people involved in the craft, especially young builders, and to promote rodbuilding as well as to put something back into the craft that has given them a lot.
On top of that you've got Tom Kirkman who does a lot more than anybody to promote the craft through the forum, Rodmaker magazine and the Expo.
Some guys can't even be bothered to say thanks for the help they get so it's nice to know there are a few that appreciate what this place is about.
