size of any pattern will be determined by the size of the blank.measure the area for the wrap,say 200mm,go to the center of this measurment,100mm, measure the circumfrence at this point,15mm i.e.,now lay out the 15mm along your 0 degree axis.lay out on the 180 degree,and start wrapping.i did not include directions for taper off set spacing on purpose,there are many good books that will explain this technique,billy vivonas comes to mind,his book will explain many more tricks and tips also,well worth the money
