3.5 is as small as I've ever gone. Anglers Workshop has a couple of choices there. REC for sure.

if you can -- use a 4 tube and put either A size thread wrap over the blank If that does not tighten it up try D
put it on ( after preping the tip ) in wide diamons so the glue grabs the blank

they stated on my cart they are out of Aero reel seats ??? Not good
