Looking for comments on the Lamiglas Pro Series. Pro or Con. Interested in the heavier bass models. Thanks. Re: New Lamiglas Pro Series?

They sent me three for the upcoming RodMaker Reception and all I can say is that they are small diameter with very fine tips. Surprisingly light for their power. That's about all I can offer. Not sure how new they are. It could be that they're so new that nobody has had much of a chance to test them on the water.

I just received 3 I ordered yesterday. Jan 28, 2013 stamped on the tag.
I taped up a microwave setup and did some test casts with the 842, shot like a rocket! The above description is spot on with my impression. The water here is an inch or so too stiff to fish yet. I may try one of the flipping blanks and I would like to try the infinity series. Re: New Lamiglas Pro Series?

Anyone know how these will compare to the LP 844 XMG blank? I was considering either the Pro 843 or the LP 844 the line lure ratings are very similar, as are the measureables specs.
Which do you guys think would make the better all around bass spinning rod--with a slight finesse lean so sensitivity will be important. thanks Re: New Lamiglas Pro Series?

The pro x 844 is stiffer in the tip than the xmg lp844
side by side the pro x feels lighter weight but heavier in the tip Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
