Hello all. My last coat of finish over a graphic in the butt wrap area has a sag. I must have put it on a little thick. The whole area is about 7 inches and there is about a 1 inch wide spot where it is a bit lower. My question is can I put a coat of finish on JUST that area? Will it blend with the already cured epoxy?
Thanks in advance. Scott "My biggest fear in life is that when I die, my wife will sell my fishing gear for what I said I paid for it." Re: Epoxy question, how to fix a low spot

If you wait after mixing your epoxy, and let it thicken a little, it will stay in your low spot better. Then, if you are happy that you evened it up to your liking, put at least one more coat over it all, to blend. I have to do this on occasion, with my larger feather inlays, due to uneven surfaces.

I have done both of the above mentioned techniques with success. Re: Epoxy question, how to fix a low spot

I second Jay. I've done both and done properly, they both work. Re: Epoxy question, how to fix a low spot

Scott,
Or, just leave it alone, don't tell anyone and it will be a great rod. Roger Re: Epoxy question, how to fix a low spot
