Phenix M1 blanks

Hey fellas

Has anyone built or fished the New MI blanks from Phenix?

They have a blank that really appeals to me for a personal stick(Thanks for the tip Matt). It's 7'2 1/8 to 3/4 oz lure and 6- 12 pnd line if I remember right.

Are they made in U.S.A.??

Thanks Rick

I don't think any of the phenix blanks are made in the USA. The new M1 blanks are still pretty new, in fact phenix doesn't have them listed under blanks on there site yet, just production rods. I saw they do have them at mudhole tho. The factory M1 rods are however getting some very good reviews over on tackle tour.

I have 2 phenix ultra MBX customs and I can't say a bad thing about them.

Yes it's a sweet lookin blank! I've narrowed it down to either the PRO XP 843 or the MX-S72M-B.

The Gloss Black on the XP is the effect I'm going for and is still made in U.S. I think. I don't know the color of the M1. But I'll definetally find out.
I think I'll check out TT for there reveiw thanks MATT.

Rick
