This is the second time I have ever submitted anything to a message board, the first time was about 1.5 hours ago to this very one and I think the fact that I made a mistake and left my last name off, which constitued me violated a rule. If there is something else I am missing, someone please let me know...... Now for the topic at hand....... I am trying to take a matte black blank that I have had for some time and change it to a honey-reddish type of a color, with the final pre-construction touches being adding a light clear coat finish to the blank. I hope to be able to have the graphite fibers show visibly through the color of the blank instead of just covering them up them with paint, thereby hiding them. I welcome suggestions from anyone reading that may have knowledge of how I can approach this task. Before I started sanding the blank, and learning through trial-and-error, I thought I would ask. Thanks. Re: Changing The Color of a Blank
