I know some of you guys have probably built on this blank before. Can yall give me any insight as to how it performs? Is it good for 1/4oz cranks, poppers, or even a shad rap #5? I heard its a bit whippy, but that may help the rod to load those smallers baits. I am looking a rod to cast smaller cranks with, like kvd 1.0, zoom mutt, etc. Thanks for any info you have on this blank. Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 01/01/2013 11:25AM by Chatham Hill. Re: G. Loomis hasn't sold blanks in quite a few years now. Re: G. Loomis CRB-783

Yes, Loomis has not sold blanks for a few years but there are still a few floating around if you search far and wide. I know some guys on here must have some experience with this blank. If anybody can give me any info on this blanks performance it would be appreciated. Re: G. Loomis CRB-783

Take a look at Hydra blanks. I have built on several and own two myself. I really like them. Very high quality, made in the U.S. David Dosser Coshocton, OH Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
