Does someone know a rod blank which corresponds ?

Thanks

If you are looking for a 4,20m or 4,50m rod in three pieces its not easy to find. I only found those in Europe from Veret(Italy) and WFT(Germany).
The rest come from Asia.

Abraço

Nuno

Purglas make several in 3 piece.
Being an African blank it may suit the conditions better?

I stumbled across a whale of a deal on an 11'8" 3-piece Purglas blank at the Mudhole shop a few years ago and couldn't resist it. I built it out but haven't used it - too much rod for Florida surf. The walls of the blank are 2 mm thick. I have no doubt it would handle a 200 pound fish in the surf - if the hook, the line, the reel and the angler could.

Phil, the newer ones are lighter weight but still very powerful. Not a gulf rod at all though.

Hi guys,

Thanks for your help.

I have contacted Purglas and I am waiting for their answer.

If I can't find a 3 pieces blank, I think that I will take a Batson SUR1569F.

What do you think of my choice ?

Have a nice day.

Regards

Franck

Is somebody knows how to contact Purglas ?

I have sent them an E-mail but I don't have any answer.

I wish you a Merry Christmas.

Best regards.
