I've worked with shrink wrap before doing a rod handle with out any problems. I'm thinking of taking a piece of EVA and wrapping both ends as well .I'm concerned about the appearance of the ends . How much of the wrap do I leave to cover the ends? Will it come out completely smooth with no wrinkles? Re: shrink wrap

Maryann, Leave about 3/4 of an inch longer than you need. Put heat to it using a hair dryer till its smooth as glass. If you have a tad bit sticking out longer than you want just snip it with some shears. Just think of it this way, if it does not come out the first time just cut it off and try again. Thats how we learn.
