as long as you get good and hard finish both methods is okay

Looks like im going to try drilling the lids and see how I like that method.

Check out your local Surplus store. I recently picked up some syringes that are two inches in diameter and 5 inches long. A nice size to mix paint and clear. They are cheap enough so that you can dedicate a new syringe to each new color of paint. Roger Re: scales vs syringe

Syringes are the way to go for exact measurement, but you can also carefully pour the 2 parts into measured mixing cups. this is not quite as accurate, but much better than using a scale. Just measure the exact amount of A & B into the cup, mix, and apply. syringes are the way to go though. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
