Next SEARBS meeting

The next SEARBS meet will be held on monday the 12th of November at Ray Balmforths place. We have Mark Fisher as a guest and this should be our biggest and best meeting so far. We even have a guy who is flying in from Maryborough in Queensland so he can spend a bit more time with Mark. That alone says enough about his abilities. Any Aussie builders in the Sydney/Wollongong area are welcome to attend and skill level is totally unimportant. If you would like to attend then send me an email so we can get the numbers right for catering purposes.
SEARBS meets are usually on a weekend but this is the only day Mark can attend and he is a long way from home.

Hi Col,

The subject of catering reminds me of a fly tying course I went to years ago.
The course was held at the home of the tutor and each week his wife always made a large amount of sausage rolls and a nice cake as well as tea and coffee.

One young fellow in the course, who was renting a flat by himself, made the comment: "Do we really have to stuff about tying these Bl**dy flies, I just come here for the food" !!

PS. Thanks for the email last week.

Cheers

Dale

Looking forward to it guys 6 hour drive is a long hard way to get a sausage roll.

Really looking forward to meeting Mark Fisher I have admired his work for a long time now. I also have some news and products to show everyone from American Tackle and Matagi.

Getting close now a big thanks goes out to Col for getting this off the ground.

Hi Mark,
I think you might do a bit better than a sausage roll. Been in contact with a few and everyone is super keen except Barry Chapman who might miss out. His old boss has conned him into doing a job for him in New Zealand but he might get back in time. So much for being retired and Barry was really looking forward to meeting up with Mark Fisher so I hope he makes it back. He'll have his laptop so if you can send him the logo's he'll put in his comment if he doesn't make it.. Take it easy on the drive down.
