The NERBs will be up in Leominster, MAss for our annual MAss gatheirng. We already have builders attending form NJ, NY, CT. RI. MA, and Maine. HEre are the details for SAturday, if you are interested in learning the finer points of the craft e-mail me:

Time: 9am - 5pm?? (depends when people leave)
Address: LArsen Ave Leominster, MA 01453
Admission: $40 if it's your first time, $20 if you've been to a gathering before
Food: Breakfast (donuts, maybe bagels, coffee) and lunch (who knows what we'll have, usually pizza). People also bring food & desserts & snacks > we never have a shortage of food!! We have soda/water, and if you want to bring beer that is encouraged!! Especially if you bring some Octoberfest or Pumkpkin ales, or a nice Russian Imperial Stout (haha I had to slip that in )

Topics:
- Decorative Grips - Several guys have been making grips so I will be spending a lot of time on this topic. We have a bandsaw & scroll saw, and I will have bags of sample grips to look over.
- Basics - There are several guys attending who have not built too many rods. The grips are probably not going to be useful for them, so we will have one of teh experianced NERBs (Mike G, Joey, SteveZ) showing teh basics of building and answering any questions you have. If this is your first gathering please message me back adn tell me the type of rods you build most so we can be prepared to anwer your questions.
Decorative Wraps - Thos eof you attending are lucky to have THE top Dec Wrappers driving 5+ hours to this gathering. SteveZ, JoeyL, MikeG, and of course, the host Mike J. I will go over how to use my book, and we can sit around answerring any Q's you have and showing you how it's done.
Epoxy finish - I will go over applying epoxy & CO, which ones to use and everything you need to know abotu how I do my finish. There is a LOT of info in this presentation, so bring a notepad and write stuff down.
I will bring stuff to sell, but I need to know what you need. Blanks, guides, EVA blocks, packing tools, my book - whatever. This is my full time business so if you can order stuff from me that would be great. If oyu have any rods you built, please bring them (like 2 or 3). If you are working on anything, bring it and expect advice on how to do things better. We have a LOT of fun, it's a really loose format with a bunch of peopel hanging out in one area talking rods & fishing, otehrs listenign to what I have to say in another. If you are not interested in a topic, that's fine walk over to where the other guys are hanging out and ask them questions, or hang out and @#$%& with them. I'm looking forward to seeing you guys again, and meeting the new guys. Enjoy the rest of the weeek, and I lok forward to hearing back from you.
