upper half of a Sage 10150-4 TCX

Does anybody knows where can i buy just the upper half of a Sage 10150-4 TCX?
I was thinking to make a spinn-jigg rod out of this half fly rod. I’m hoping to buy half the rod at only half the price .
Question:
If you have to compare this rod with a Loomis MB 844 IMX or with a North fork MB 709-1 (HM) what would you say about it?
Would Sage TCX be at least as sensitive as those blanks ? Would he be so fast? Would he be less stiff ?
How much power will I lose by using only half of this TCX blank? can someone measure and tell me which will be the base diameter of the second section from the tip (the butt of the future rod)?

No one sells half sections of those rods other than Sage, unless you can find somebody with a broken lower half that no longer has use for the upper section.

Sage don't sale just part of the rod.You must buy all rod.
Si iti spun asta pt. ca ieri am vorbit cu ei,deoarece transform un bat SAGE RPLX1090 9'W10 in bat de spinning si ma interesa sa cumpar varful.

Carol...I just wanted to suggest ,to talk with Mr.Scurtu.He is the one who made spinning rods, out of fly blanks...and here you go, he is here with a solid answer.
For sure he can tell you about fly blanks and their sensitivity. But if senistivity comes first ...I 'm not sure if a fly blank is the right choise in the detriment of specialized jig blanks.
