Lamiglas Blank ID help

While I was cleaning out the garage and knocking the dust off of all my rodbuilding equipment I came across a couple of Lamiglass blanks that I never got around to building. They are 7' 1 1/2" long and they are what I believe they called "Cherry" colored. The handwritten sticker on the butt of the blank says "XC86H". I remember buying them because I thought they would make great rods for striped bass. I've decided to build these lost beauties up. Does anybody know the action, line and lure weight for these blanks. The blanks will be for my personal use so I really don't need the information but it would be nice to put the information on the finished rod. If I had to guess.. I probably purchased these blanks around 2003... Early to mid 2000's? I e-mailed Lamiglas the other day but have not heard from them. I'm sure they have better things to do than look this up for me. If nobody here knows, I noticed that Lamiglas also has a forum. I can try there if need be, or I can just build em up and go fish.

Thanks,
George

If this is the blank I'm thinking of it's a 6 inch longer of the earlier Dee Thomas frog rod blank, 15 to 30 lb line, 1 to 3 oz lure wt. A stiff, but light blank in IM 700.

AHHHHHHH! How sweet it is to find older blanks that are still worth having. The Lami XC84 MH was such a favorite of mine I bought as many of the blanks that I could afford when they were discontinued. I still build on them for fluke fishing and have one or two left.

This is the Certified Pro Graphite series. According to the 1996 Lami blank catalog this series is 15% lighter and 38% stronger than regular graphite. The XC 84 H was introduced in 1996, rated 15-30 # class line with a lure weight of 1/2 -2 oz. Build them and enjoy catching fish.

As Capt. Neil mentioned, went through my Lamiglas stuff and found the IMC/XC 80 H 6 ft 8 in blank I mentioned earlier and the XC 84 H blank that is again listed in the mid 2000 calologs, same line rating but the heavier lure rating mentioned earlier. I seen no XC 86 H 7 ft 2 in version so far.

Thanks for all the input/information. 15-30 lb seems like the correct line.
