Light loading pitching blank reccomendations?

I'm hoping for reccomendations on a pitching suitable blank that can be finished about 7' 6" (give or take), that will load Easily with 1/8 to 1/4 ounce baits. I'm Co-Angling, and trying to finesse pitch after my boater has been working the mats. I'm in Florida. I was thinking 40# braid with a short 20# topshot. I need enough power to drag 'em out usually so I don't PO my boater, but a tip that will load with just a wrist flick at that weight range. I realize such a blank may not exist, but I thought here would be the place to ask!
Thanks! Craig Re: Light loading pitching blank reccomendations?

Craig,
A blank that will load those weights and still have the power to recover the fish is a tough one. For fun fishing, I'm not afraid to do that work with a Batson 822.5 or 823 on my northern largemouths, but I can easily go retrieve the fish from the nasties without bothering an angler with more on the line. About the only blank that I have on hand with a limber tip to load the light stuff with a lot of power in the butt is my RFLE 765 from Swampland (Perhaps Bill or Lance will chime in with a good idea.). It's an S-glass cranking specialty blank that comes in at 7'8"-7'9", and may be trimmed a bit to get what you need. The top half is pretty soft to help keep trebles in, but the lower half has some real power for a cranking stick. A trim of 1/4"-1/2" from the tip and the rest from the butt may get you something that works out. Also take a look at the 806 in the same series as it is a bit more powerful. Another out of the box solution may be a hot shot blank if you can find one with the tip and butt power that you need, but I haven't handled enough HS blanks to know which model may work. 1/8 - 1/4 oz with trailer? If you are adding a chunk or craw you are up to 1/2oz with more options.
Hydra FL904-NG - 3/8 - 1 1/4oz - soft tip and designed for light pitching Hydra MB904-NG - 1/4 - 1 oz (don't have on site, contact us as we do have them in stock) Both US designed and US built. Either should weigh in under 4.5oz at 7'6" when built with micros, split grip eva, and full reel seat. A determined builder could get close to the 4 oz mark. Make no mistake the power is there as well. Pairs nicely with Kigan guides for outstanding durability and performance. Thanks, but it will likely be 1/8-1/4 total., i.e. 3-4" unweighted senko, crappies sized bass jig without trailer, or small tube.
Since pitching is a wrist flip method, rather than using the whole arm, I'm thinking whatever I end up with should have a ex fast or fast tip to load in a short arc, would this be correct? Craig Re: Light loading pitching blank reccomendations?

Try a hotshot blank like the Batson HS 9000, light tip for about 18 inches than lots of backbone. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
