Gotta be happy

Have just spent three days fishing down the coast using two of the three rods i have built and was very impressed.Worked very well
in all applications they were used for.Casted like a dream and worked well under load. When your tossing lures for 8 hours straight
and your not to fatigued i must of done something right. One was made to replace an expensive custom i have and i felt it performed
every bit as good plus there was a lot more love in it.I feel a lot more confident about replacing the rest of my rods and having a sale
of them.So a big thank you to all who have helped me in my builds so far answering my questions and there will be more to come.
And to all the newbies like myself dont be scared to ask for help and take your time it will all come together.

cheers

Hi Ray,
Good stuff. Glad your impressed with what you've built. They'll get even better from here on. Can't beat catching fish on rods you built yourself.

Life is really quite short. To catch fish on a rod you built is one of the diamonds of life. Continue to enjoy Ray and wait 'til a friend is thrilled with the production of a 'Ray Rod'. Another diamond in life!

Hi, Ray,
A highlight in my life is when I heard: "This is the best rod I have ever fished with!!"

"Can't beat catching fish on rods you built yourself."

Col,
That is the best statement I've read all day! Very true!

Hi Matt,
Thanks, definitely got something about it that you can't get with a factory rod and their usually one of a kind. Even better if they perform upto or above expectations and if it looks good that is a bonus. The factory rods that I accumulated have all been stripped and rebuilt "my way" and are definitely better performers than they were.
