hey guys,
I have a buddy that wants me to wrap a rod for him but he wants me to use a pattern similar to the one in the picture (link below). Can you guys help me identify the pattern for that wrap. I think its a multi axis right facing chevron but wanted to ask the pros. Thanks [www.rodbuilding.org] Re: Pattern Help

That's about what I would call it.
You can deconstruct any wrap by viewing the top threads and continuing to work backwards, writing the lay-out instructions on paper from the bottom up. .............. Re: Pattern Help

I only have the picture. No rod to look at.
Thanks Tom. Re: Pattern Help

Think that's an 8 axes chevron pattern. Dale Clemens book "Advanced Custom Rod Building" covers how to make it. Jersey, Channel Islands. (U.K.) Re: Pattern Help
