I recently watched the video Anglers Resource put up on you tube. I'm just curious, how many of you are using the KR casting concept with the 10kw df, 5.5 kw df, then micros? I've been building most of my casting with micros on top, beginning with 4 or so with stripper around 20"-23" from the reel face, and I haven't noticed any issue. When I spiral wrap, I'll usually start with a 6 df, 2 size 5 guides, then the rest 4s or 3s. Based on my reading on this forum, it seems that a lot of builders are building with a micro stripper guide. Thoughts on the KR Theory Casting?

I always use a DF 8 then a 5 and 4's. Using a stripper smaller than an 8 just doesn't feel or look right. That was an awesome video. It was great seeing the line in slow motion flow through the guides. Re: KR Concept - Casting

I have been trying to find where I can get some of those , KR guides, they have on that video, does anyone know where I can, I tried to look them up in Mudhole's site but cannot find them, by the way it was an really interesting video, I finally got to see the flow in slow motion. I've used both normal guide trains and micro lay outs on spiral wraps.
My thought is that the guides work the same regardless of whether they are on the top or bottom of the blank. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
