Blank Power - What does it mean?

Hello,
i don't know how i write this.... I saw that the MHX-Blanks by example have power m, mh, h , xh ..... what the power mean in german? I know in english mh is for medium heavy..... Re: Blank Power - What does it mean?

Hi Mark,

This m, mh, h, xh i've wrote that i known what it is, but what does it mean in german?

Mark,
Just like action stands for how a blank flexes as it begins to load. The power tells you how much your blank is capable of lifting. The ratings are not consistent from one line of blanks to another, for example a MH surf rod is going to have a completely different lifting power than a MH mag bass or spin jig blank. A check of the line and lure ratings will generally tell you whether a blank will work for a certain task, but then again these are a bit ambiguous too. I hope this helps a bit.
