Those of us who have rod building websites need to completely understand our providers allowable bandwidth and storage allotments.
Many folks use a "FREE" website service for a short time then upgrade to a "premium" (payed) site. Just be sure you understand what your getting for your $$. I surely didn't! My provider allows me (and others if I allow) to put up as many photo type files I wish without those files counting towards my file storage quota. I thought, "how cool is that!" So, a BUNCH of photos went up and people really like that. Eventually though, I discovered that everytime one of those photos got clicked on (viewed) it used bandwidth and once my allotment of bandwidth is reached either I have to "buy more" or risk the provider deactivating the site until the next billing cycle starts and my quotas reset. I might concider shopping around soon. Just an FYI Oh! I sure have a far better appreciation for the "Photo" section of THIS site. I can imagine what it costs to keep running! WOW Raymond Adams Eventually, all things merge, and a river runs through it.. Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 07/03/2012 12:54AM by Raymond Adams. Re: Websites Bandwidth

I resell hosting and manage several sites for other people. There are many low cost hosts out there with unlimited bandwidth.
Check out hostgator [www.hostgator.com] they have a few different plans and they have been very reliable and a good value. I have the NJ B.A.S.S Federation Nation site hosted with them it handles that very well. I have found godaddy to be expensive, slow, and VERY difficult to get away from. They hold domain names hostage when you try to leave. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
