Hi all,
My first post on this site.
I am doing a rod at the moment and decided to use perma gloss on all my guides,
I have applied 4 coats and was wondering if i need to put a coat of epoxy over the top as well.
Don't want to have a high build up on the guides.

Thanks for all the info i have found on this site so far, it is making life alot easier knowing that i can use other products than those with rodbuilding written on the label which makes them alot more expensive.

I always take life with a grain of salt. Plus a slice of lemon and a shot of Tequila.

No epoxy needed

Epoxy will turn amber or yellow at some point, while the Permagloss never will. Plus, the PG is much harder yet more flexible than epoxy. No need to do it.
