making a cork / EVA handles

where can I get some EVA sheets not large amounts, not to thick , I have tried foam from craft stores, but what I got was very soft compaired to the EVA grip, hard to smooth it up any help ,
I am experementing on Handles mixing cork, an EVA to gether the FOAM wants to tear an not smoth up, so what I get is a kind of ruff foam is there any help out there Bill Re: making a cork / EVA handles

I use craft foam all the time I never have a problem. YOu can cut strips from blocks if you have blocks and if you have a bandsaw. Tehr eis a difference in hardness beteeen reg EVA an dcraft foam, but it should all turn down the same. Not sure why th efoam is rough when you sand, maybe use more 150-220 sand paper and less 80-120. Re: making a cork / EVA handles

I sand my cork/eva grips with a wood block under the sandpaper and it leaves a nice transition and stops the eva gouging. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
