Pac Bay Spey Blanks

Anybody have any experience with the Pac Bay Tradition II spey blanks? Mostly interested in the 13' 7/8 and 9/10. Any recommendations for a grain window on these blanks?

Anybody ever use the 8wt Forecast RX6 Spey? General opinions on that one?

I've built the 7/8 (which I think they brand as the 7 wt now) and fished it a fair amount. It's a solid blank and a great value. A little on the stiff side compared with some of the newer spey actions. I prefer the RX7 spey blanks but the RX6's fish well. The blue color is distinctive and I use blue thread with white trim which makes a very striking blank. It depends on your casting style and what fits you or your customer.

I've not built or fished the Pac Bay spey blanks. Sorry.

Terry
