Can someone tell me what is up with the old Garcia Conolon rods.
Apparently Garcia made several different models with the conolon material. One being the "kingfisher" line. I get more requests for this rod than any other. Can someone fill me in on why this may be? thanks Re: Garcia Conolon rods

If you match them up with the propper Garcia reel , they become a nice collectible , that is even fishable . Larry Re: Garcia Conolon rods

Some rods have a following for all the wrong reasons. Often the pier and surf casting crowd is the worst in this respect. There are newer and better ways to do things but some can't, and won't, see the light.
Original Harrington and Harnell are favorites in many areas. Way better stuff IMHO.....but then I never liked mitchell reels either:) Russ in Hollywood, FL. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
