I got a "too good to pass up price" on a Lami LGM961XH that I am currently building as a Musky rod but will see double duty as a fluke/light blackfish rod. Right now the handle is built with a 14" graphite tube, crutch butt cap, Fuji ECS trigger seat with 4" of shrink tube behind the seat, 4" EVA foregrip and a rubber o-ring winding check. I am considering the following guide train. Fuji LC for the stripper, and AmTak artus micros the rest of the way to the tip. Any opinions would eb welcome. Thanks. I see no reason why it won't work, although I can't give you any specifics on any advantages to doing it that way. I haven't personally used the LC series guides.
