Shelf life of Chromaseal

Hi Everyone,
I purchased a bottle of Threadmaster Chromaseal C/P approx 2 years ago.
I plan to coat the underbindings on a build, which I wrapped back then.
My question is "will the Chromaseal still be ok to use?, is there a shelf-
life for this product?". There appears to be no discoloration, only some
seperation of the parts. The product was used once when i recieve it,
& has been stored with the lid on in a cardboard box in my basement.

Thanking you in advance.

Soc Demos.

Hi Soc,
No shelf life that I know of. Give it a very good shake to get the solids in suspension then let it sit till the bubbles diappear Roll it on your upper leg before use as this won't create many bubbles. If your really worried about it do a test wrap on something, then put on a couple of coats of cp, let it dry and put some finish on it and see how it turns out.

no shelf life as long as it doesn't get frozen.
Thanks
Scott

Thanks Scott.
By the way, I love threadmaster lite! I've used it on several builds now, including a 2-4kg rock rod & a 24kg popping rod.
I find it works very well for me as long as i build the coats up lightly (as many as 5 for a double overbound rod).
I recently purchased a bottle of threadmaster regular, which look forward to trying on a current build.
