Hi to every one
First I wanted to say what a great weekend I had with all you guys in High Point it was a great show. I am looking for the material or finished product, to do a 12 inch fore grip in White Leather with gold trim or white flocked or unflocked shrink tubing, I have been searching now for an hour whit out any success. Any info greatly appreciated. Mark Crouse Re: Trolling rod fore grip 20#

Doesn't the DonJer company offer colored flocking kits? Re: Trolling rod fore grip 20#

Not sure they offer any nylon flock in white. Leather would be easier to locate, I think.

Mark -
DONJER has flock in white, cream and ivory. Maybe do shrink tube then flock & wrap with gold Gudebrod HT braid? , I think this would work. I think (never tried this) you could either glue on the HT braid; cover with masking tape then flock or do the flock & then glue on the HT braid. The second approach might be less durable. Another possibility is to flock; wrap with the braid then apply finish to the braid only - that would require, I think much more care in applying the finish so it didn't bleed into the flock. Here's another idea: try a local re-uphostery place for auto seat covers in naugahyde or maybe a place that fabricates t-tops for boats?? It won't be leather but will probably stand up better than leather in the elements.
Amazon.com has an advertisement for white leather.... Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 03/03/2012 08:33AM by Ken Preston. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
