i was interested in a renzetti rod wrapper, just called them and the only thing they offer is the rod wrapper by itself you have to buy the motor and motor mount. they do not offer the solid state foot petal any more and was wondering what you could use sense that looks to be a ac/dc motor. is it worth it to try and piece this wrapper together or is a cpw wrapper the way to go, need help in what you guys would do i have seen the motor out there for around 65 dollars, so should i piece a new renzetti together or just buy a cpw wrapper i am just starting out in the business and am gearing up to hopefully to do lots of rods, so i will need the best wrapper and i know those are the top ones. and i know when you all bought your renzetti it came as a complete kit so let me know and thanks

They began offering different motor packages for the same basic machine.

I like the 1/10HP motor for all around use, if they still offer that one. Andy will be in High Point next week for the Expo and I'll ask him what's going on with the lack of a solid state foot control.

WW Granger offers motors and solid state foot pedal. Seen this discussed on another thread or post somewhere.

Linemaster makes an excellent solid state foot switch.
I have purchased several of them for both my wrappers as well as other shop tools using ac/dc motors.

The 901 has plenty of capacity to handle the current of the wrapper motor:

From what Lily told me this afternoon, the solid state foot control they were offering has been discontinued. They are looking for another supplier.

Tom,
If you have contact with renzetti, you might mention Linemaster. A very excellent industrial controller at a very reasonable price.
