Rainshadow XSW68MX and XSW62MX work great for vertical jigging up to a 1 oz jig for river walleyes. They are a bit longer than 6 ft. though.

Thanks for the suggestions and advice.

Is your view that the lure weight class is for low?

Model Color Length Pcs Line Wt. Lure Wt.

XSW68MX TC 6'8" 1 6-14lbs 1/8-5/8oz

in my calculation 5/8 oz is about 18 gr (or Bad luck when I am thinking)

Christer is Swedish Walleye same as Zander? The XSW68MX is a very powerful & fast blank, but for Pike and Zander with a one ounce lure you may want a little more rod.

I guess any SJ (Spin Jig) or MB (Mag Bass) with a power rating of 3 would get you close. Most of those will be 6' 6" on the short end. We could recommend any number of blanks. What manufacturers are available in your location?
