I am 13 years old and building my first rod I bought a 7'6" ML kit from Cabelas and I have 6 guides (no clue what size) what is the spacing?

You can go about this two ways. First, you can do your own custom spacing. Here's how: [www.rodbuilding.org]

Or, you can simply go by a generic chart. It won't be perfect, but it'll work fine. Several of the companies listed in the sponsor column to the left will have such spacing charts. I believe Batson Enterprises and St. Croix have such a thing, and others may as well.

Hunter,
It looks like those Cabelas kits are a little lean on materials.... if you run short of "stuff", shoot me an email, I've probably got some extra materials lying around needing a new home.
