As for shipping tubes Go to your local carpet srore ask them for the tube that carpet is rolled on they usually toss them or re-cycle them but for the most account they will let you have them Just cut them to size I use a saw cut circles from card board carton for the ends stuff tubes with what ever wrapped with lots of news paper don't rip the news paper some people like to read the news from other parts of the country I know I do especially the restaraunt sections put the ends on tape 'em up send 'em off works real well for me ! and by the way I like USPS they are cheaper and jus as fast ! Roger,
It arrived today!!! I had delivery confirmation, insurance. etc. What was frustrating was that every time that I did tracking (several times a day), the only entry was as far as sent to sorting facility (back room of the Post Office.) Mike (Southgate, MI) If I don't want to, I don't have to and nobody can make me (except my wife) cuz I'm RETIRED!! Re: USPS or UPS

It also depends on what part of the country you are shipping to. We have shipped 7' blanks on a Friday to the east coast for $14.00 and they arrive on Monday. The same blank shipped to Nevada from Washington State can cost as much as $20.00. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
