Earlier someone mentioned Morris Schlesinger's wood turning seminar and day long demonstration at the upcoming 2012 Expo. Here's a link to a website which details some of his work. It should be obvious, this guy is among the best of the best. He's knows what he's talking about.

Morris did one of the best seminars I've attended. At the time he didn't know anything about turning cork on a mandrel but figured it out real quick . Being new at turning at the time the wealth of info was almost overwhelming. Then his daylong at the booth continued the experience. Freddwhy (Rapt-Ryte) Re: Wood Turning Seminar

Here's the thing - I didn't solicit Morris to come to the Expo. He called and volunteered. He's had so much fun here that he wanted to come down and spend time with the rod builders and go one on one with them in a booth of his own. His enthusiasm is infectious.
Of course, in addition to his booth and day long turning demos, he'll be giving a standard seminar as well. ............... Re: Wood Turning Seminar

Lathes (Jet, Delta and Rikon) will be available for sale at the Expo, usually at special pricing, if you decide to buy one right then.
