Come to the Expo. There is a fellow there with a GREAT booth ... Skin Shop USA. He has everything imaginable, best of all you can pick through it and get the "perfect" skin for your tastes - at wholesale pricing.

No, he doesn't. Dwayne isn't into the internet. You could hire a "proxy" to do your purchasing at the Expo. I have performed that task for others in the past. The selection at the show has to be seen to be believed - he brings half the reptile skins in existence ... it is crazy. Of course, the entire show is like that.

Hank,

I go through tons of skins for my rods and lures. I deal with two places: Tandy Leather and Springfield Leather. If you have a registered rod business, you can open wholesale accounts with them. They both have very high quality skins.

i pick them up on the side of the road whenever i see one (copper head) and make my own, but don't try this at home..lol..you can get some on @#$%& but for the price and proper cure, best bet would be mud hole or the ones listed on top. bad skins or dried crispy skins are a pain to work with

Hey Hank,
Google - Mary Lou VandeRiet. She's know as the snake lady down here in Texas and has an assortment of snake skins. Also there is a place down here called AmericanHeadHunters that hve a wide assortment of quality skins. I've bought several from these guys and they are first rate.
