Hello, this is my first post. Thank you for registration and sharing.
I saw a factory St. Croix surf spinning rod with split grips at a local tackle shop recently. They used shrink tube over a tuna cord cross wrap between EVA handles. I have done this several times myself, however, I have never seen the type of shrink tube they used. It had a wood grain effect that was semi glossy and thicker than normal. I really liked it. Does anyone know the type of shrink tube I am describing ?? They had several other St. Croix rods on display that had the normal shrink tube and Tube X. The 'wood grain' type I desire is totally different. Any help would be appreciated so I can start my next rod. Thank you, Patrick Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
