I think this would look good as to the tan part Variegated Thread "Sand" from FishHawk. IMO Re: thread suggestions

Variegated Sand would be a great choice. [www.getbitoutdoors.com] Tight Lines and Bull's-eyes, Get Bit Outdoors 407-542-7840 www.GetBitOutdoors.com www.facebook.com/GetBitOutdoors Re: thread suggestions

1. Beauty is in the eye of.... well, you know. Don't let anybody tell you what's too bright. If you like bright, wrap it. That's what test dowels are for.
2. Goldenrod IMO, is best for trim and inlays, but that's just me. The tan is fine, but it's hard, if you do any inlays or have metallic trim pinned under, to keep color from bleeding through. I've done some wraps recently that have tan underwraps and inlays with kelly green wraps and Old Gold metallic trim bands that I think look really good. They are too bright for the tiny-little-brown-wraps conservative crowd. (Nothing wrong with tiny-little-brown-wraps, if that's your bag.) Re: thread suggestions
