I have recieved a couple of early entries so far, and a lot of people telling me what they plan to do. IT is working out great for builders of all levels. [northeastrodbuilders.com] Here are the details: "The NERBs Decorative Wraps Challenge, Fall 2011 is open to EVERYONE - all skill levels are welcome to participate. I want to stress this is not a contest, it is a challenge - the goal is for each builder to try something new (a new technique, color combo, pattern, material, etc), this way each builder improves and expands on his/her current skill level. SPREAD THE WORD on this challenge on web sites that you frequent, or to rodbuilders who do not go on the internet.

The Challenge..... You must use thread, cord, twine, or something else which can be wrapped or woven on a rod blank, candlestick, wine glass, a baseball bat - (have fun with it!!). You can do a Decorative Wrap or Weave, or abstract wrap - whatever you feel like challenging yourself to do will be accepted.
