Quick question - What do you guys do to get a straight line of epoxy behind a micro guide without getting finish in the guide ring (I find it extremely hard to get a brush back there)?

Toothpick works well.

I take one of the disposable hobby brushes and cut off all but about ten bristles and use that.

Keep the guise holes clean!

We simply take a Flex Coat brush, usually the "Light" (1/8") for small guides, and sharpen the handle end in a pencil sharpener.
Then dab a bit from your epoxy tray and let it drip into the tunnel end of the guide, turn it around after wiping the handle off and finish the rest of the wrap.
I usually do all the tunnel ends first, then go back and do the rest of all the wraps.
Helps when trying to make sure the tunnels of all guides get filled, either with finish or CP, without having an excess buildup.

An hour or so after applying the finish, once the epoxy is gelled up - take a needle and remove the excess if you put too much on. I do this on all my double foot guides. That web of finish is on eof the things that drives me crazy and somehting tha tI notice on rods right away.
