Ideas / Thoughts on Color Scheme for Monster Superhero Themed Pier Rod

So I have picked up this 8' 3" solid glass rod to have it completely redone. [www.southfloridasharkclub.com]
The rod is somewhere between 26-28mm Tip. It's a monster. I have decided to think outside the box and go with a Superman Theme for it. My rod builder is still in teardown mode on it, so I wanted to run the idea past a thousand sets of eyes, versus just one. We're going to modify the length to about 7'6" and do a Stuart Tuff-Butt or Uni butt (Aluminum) butt on it and a 9-10" foregrip (leather). Now I am stumped on how to best use the colors red, sky blue, and a bit of yellow between the blank color, underwraps, and overwraps ect. Planning on doing some kind of Superman logo between the diamond set and the first guide. Just sold my 50VSW to replace with an AVET 30 Topless for this rod, and am thinking about color matching the reel to the rod as well. The AVET is at least 25 ounces lighter, and alot more practical. This is going to be a Stud pier rod, but at the same time I want it something people remember...And talk about...The pier I use this on is 25 feet deep with concrete pilings and a super fast outgoing tide. using 16+ ounces of lead is not uncommon... Really just looking for some creative input. Any input is GREATLY apprecieated. Thanks! Jeremy

Hmm, this is a tough one because of the white blank but I think I'd go with Red Abalone, blue wraps and metallic gold trim bands, red uni-butt and a butt wrap that mixes red and blue evenly with just a touch of metallic gold. Top it off with a red avet and it should be pretty sweet. You're probably going to get a bunch of different ideas here which is great! This way, it can evolve into something that fits your tastes

The blank doesn't have to stay white, but it would make it unique. Spoke with AVET and I can have the reel of my choice made red and blue if I desire, which I thought would be pretty sharp to tie in with the rod. I wish this thing was done like yesterday...

I think either melton's or charkbait has both colors

I think a Superman symbol weave would look good on it also.

Yeah it probably would, but Im not sure how many hours it would take to do that. I have not asked my builder yet. I'm really not that familliar with the weaving...
