It's still a long way out, but we're already beginning to schedule seminars for the 2012 Expo. Here is a partial list of what's on tap for the 2012 event:

Basic Rod Building 101
Guide Placement Systems and Methods
Using Alternative Materials in Handles & Grips
Understanding Rod Blank Design and Materials
Building Presentation Grade Rod Tubes
Making Abstract Cork and EVA Grips
Introduction to Weaving
Introduction to Cross Wrapping
Basic Wood Turning
Advanced Wood Turning
Custom Rod Photography
Building Great Lakes Trolling Rods
Building Surf Rods
Custom Inscriptions
Making Acrylic Rod Parts
Carbon Skinning Grips
Feather Inlays
3D Beaded Art

Note the last one - If you saw Lana Preston's beautiful 3D Marlin on display at the 2011 event, now's your chance to see her present the technique, and further refinements, in person at the 2012 Expo.

Here is a partial list of the seminar presenters:

Gary Loomis
Jason Brunner
Jim Upton
Mark Crouse
Lana Preston
Ken Preston
David Mayer
Morris Schlesinger
Ralph O'Quinn
Billy Vivona
Kevin Knox

There will be more seminars and more presenters, but this is where we're at right now.

I'm proud to be part of the seminar crew. I went from HATING public speaking and failing speech in college 2 times (2 different schools), to looking forward to putting on the Wiz costume in front of a couple hundred people and sharing what I know.

I'm going to ask that Morris & I not be scheduled at the same time, I'd like to sit in on his seminars.
