Tom, was sitting here reading my newest RodMaker magazine.. AS always another great issue. Love that color! Have always enjoyed all the articles form the pros.. However I got to thinking that it would be nice to hear from the young gereration, of rod builders.I thought that maybe a new page called the kids corner or the youth corner.. Try to get the young generation interested in writting articles on the rods they have built and how they set it up for the type of fish they was fishing for. And try to find out what had gotten them started into rod building... What do you think Tom ????

When the results of the Rod Builders Survey form are completely tallied and made public, you'll understand why such a column would have extremely limited appeal. Not that you have a bad idea - it's commendable but not realistic. You'll see why shortly.

I'm working on the tally daily, a few dozen at a time, and some of the stats are quite eye opening.

Of course, if you know of a young person that would like to submit such an article, by all means have him/her do so. I'll be happy to consider it.
