first inlay

hi sorry about the pic i cant get the forum one to upload

this is my first inlay just wondering if i use wet and dry to smooth the surface abit will the colour run

No, one color won't absorb color from the other. You may get some colored EVA dust from one to the other, but that's easily removed with tape or a wipe with alcohol.

Hi Tristan,
Cool looking inlay and good for us Aussies. I do my sanding dry and it cleans up well with isopropanol. Billy Vivona is adamant that it's best to do it wet with a lot of water and then finish it with some wet denim. He does a lot of inlays so it's well worth noting how he finishes them
