I have some The colors are nice But when I need or want to wrap 6 - 8 - 12 threads at a time I find the very tight twist in the thread makes it just about impossible to get the thread to stay in order and lay flat

I have some spools of the co or fast pro wrap. I've noticed that when I let slack in it to cut n make my pull threw it twists up which causes the thread itself to unravle. Maybe you can tell me whats goinwrong.

When GudeBrod went under I went with the Pro Wrap for a replacement when they came out and I have 32 New,Unused Spools of the Pro Wrap #A and #D metallic that I bought earlier this year, I will never use this thread because because of how bad the thread is twisted/ back coiled on the spool.

After seeing your post above about them addressing the problem and fixing it, I'm glad they did. I find that they have a great selection of colors.

Just wondering if I could exchanged this new/untouched twisted thread for replacement spools. I have all invoice dates & # from you guys@ Mud Hole.

I haven't had any problems with it. I guess I got mine after the issue was resolved. I only have 4 different colors and so far, so good.

Bill,

It’s not easy laying 12 threads down at once with anyone’s thread. We teach people to only use 6 or less because it becomes too hard to manage. Nylon thread works better than metallic which really tends to “catch” on each other. A combination of nylon and metallic is also though to keep apart. Laying multiple threads down at once is a good way to speed up the wrapping process for simple wraps and filling in chevrons. Keeping the threads from twisting and knotting up depends of the length of threads used, type of thread and on keeping them separate when cutting. We have found by keep the threads to 5ft lengths, cutting them then hanging them from one end and keeping them separate until you combine them helps. We have also found using a large comb or hair pick to run through the “bundle of threads” helps to keep the separated in place.

Regards.
