Anyone built on these much? The weights look really good on them. Any feedback on longer term durability?
Thanks, Marc Re: Lamiglas XMG50 SJ or Popping

Nice blanks. Strong ... absolutely. Durable ... no more than any other thin walled HM blank. Re: Lamiglas XMG50 SJ or Popping

Very nice blanks but the action vs. name is a little off, the SJ blanks are almost a moderate fast and the popping blanks are extra extra fast. I like the LP blanks a lot they make great finesse spinning rods. Re: Lamiglas XMG50 SJ or Popping

I was impressed by a LP844 I built that I ordered one for myself, great finesse rods. Re: Lamiglas XMG50 SJ or Popping

The LP844 is one of the fastest blanks I ever measured. _________________________________________ "Angling is extremely time consuming. That's sort of the whole point." - Thomas McGuane Re: Lamiglas XMG50 SJ or Popping

Unless things have changed, only the LSJ783 is moderate ... the rest are definitely fast action. Re: Lamiglas XMG50 SJ or Popping

I've built 3 of the lightest XMG 50 blanks. They make great finesse rods for bass. A tad light for the speckled trout and reds, but manageable. Also light enough for bluegill and trout in the streams. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
