Just for a point of clarification. The shops seldom use outwrappers. They only use them when they can't handle the volume for their in house wrappers. The shops are in the Minneapolis area., Roger Re: Curious question.

These workers can wrap 20 guides in the time it takes me to wrap one. I enjoy the task. I doubt they do. The fact that I make as much in an hour as maybe 100 "wrappers" probably has a lot to do with their job satisfaction and mine. I would not advise American businesses to create menial jobs with sweat shop wages to compete with third world labor. Automation is the competitive alternative.
