I find the warrenty treatment from Loomis less than satisfactory. I sent a fly rod tippet section for replacement and they of course requested the entire blank which I also sent. They requested the exact model of the blank and although I tried to obtain it from the supplier and my records, coiuld not obtain it. Now about 2 months have passed with no further action. Not even a denial of warrenty. I think we are entitled to a little better service than this. My experience with Redington and Sage has been just the opposite. Re: G>Loomis warrenty

In order to replace a section, the entire rod is needed. This is due to slight variances in ferrules. Just any butt section of the same model will not necessarily fit your tip section properly. Also, the factory decal should have been on the blank, or supplied along with it when you returned it. This facilitates knowing what model blank they are working with, whether or not it was a first quality (and therefore warranted) blank, and whether it was a Loomis blank or not. If you have not had a response in 2 months, you should contact them concerning the blank. Obviously communications have broken down somewhere. I have had exceptional service from all the companies I have dealt with regarding warranty issues and hope you will receive the same in due course. ................................. I have had nothing but good luck when dealing with the GLoomis warranty people. If you supply them with what they ask for I would have to think they would help you out somehow. Re: G>Loomis warrenty
