Diameter of the rod?

I'm starting to order all of stuff I need to build my first rod and I can't seem to find the diameter of the blank to match the correct parts. I'm ordering some EVA grips but I don't know which size to get because I don't know the diameter. How do I find which size I need?

Thanks, Jason

Most all the sponsors will, if asked, will make sure the size of the components will match the blank you are ordering.

Oh ok. So if I order all of the stuff from Mudhole they will know what size I need even if I pick the wrong size? Winding check, grips ect?

You best tell them that the parts are for that blank.

It is not a guarantee.
But if you ask them to size the parts including tip/top to that blank, most of the sponsors are more then happy to do so

Use the telephone! Give them a call & describe what you are trying to achieve and they will help. Even better, consider one of the "kit" rods. All the components will be pre-selected to fit. You will be amazed at the end product of their parts & your craftsmanship.

Jason,
Good idea. A kit will have all correctly sized components.
