Hello cosimo-angione .
A Kabura is like a Tenia , isn't it ? I've heard about Tenia last year. It is a Japanese technic , a shrimp is threaded on a hook . ( a special lead head ) The animation : slow or quick sometime . The rod need to have sensitivity . My first think was about an Extra-Fast action , but not as powerfull as some Magbass blank . Maybe some dropshot blank ...? D. Re: Kabura blank

Thanks a lot for yuor answer.
It's not so simple to find the right blank... I use kabura with boat on 50/70 metres where current is strong and so I need a tip rod able to mainteine kabura motionless. At the same time tip must leave space to a moderate arc follow by an hard handle ( to fight 10/15 lb red snapper) Probably a light VJ blank with a glass tip could be ok... I rally don't know... Sorry again for my language.. Re: Kabura blank

Hello .
You use Kabura by 50/70 metres , with strong current . And you want to animate 3/8 oz lure ? With such condition , i would use lure up to 5 oz ... I'm not a vast knowledge of all the offers blank , but i would think that blank with a glass tip , is not very common. This is a special action , i guess only big Japanese brand offer such special rod . Maybe with Matagi ? I believe they offer some special Japanese technic blank ? Good luck . D.
