Orange Blank

OK i'm stuck, I got an orange blank from Hud Hole and I'm stuck on what color to wrap the guides. Any help at all would be appreciatted. I will be using black framed guides this
will be a spinning rod.

Try black with a couple of orange threads( as close to the colour of the blank as you can get) about 10 threads from the toe end.

Black with silver trim is my go to with orange. Gold trim works also.

look around..what colors do you see with orange? you can look at decoration magazines, buildings, paintings, wherever...the first that come to mind are blue, black, yellow,white. and maybe red....

You can buy a color wheel, or probably find an online version. Some greens and blues compliment orange.

I used metallic silver with both alternating bands and single strands of orange thread - Pac Bay has a orange that matches the blank perfectly.

personally i would go with a medium gray preferably as gray gradient . most bold colors will give it a team theme look, which is fine but thats obviously not what your looking for as your asking.

The ones I did were for Clemson University fans and were wrapped with purple, orange and white. I'm NOT a Clemson fan but the rods looked pretty good.
